Dr. Amit Gupta is an M.B.B.S. from Govt. Medical College, Patiala (1995), M.D (Resp.Ds.) from Govt. Medical College, Patiala (2001), DNB (Resp.Ds.) from NBE, New Delhi (2002). He has done Fellowship Critical Care in October 2005 from National Boards of Examinations. He has over 17 years of rich experience in his field of Pulmonology and Critical Care. He received a Best Paper award at 11th Annual Conference of Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine at Nagpur, February, 2005. He has worked at various places including Westmed Sydney, Sundaram Medical Foundation Chennai, Apollo Hospitals Ahamedabad, DMC & Hospital Ludhiana, and currently working as Senior Consultant Fortis Hospital Ludhiana. He specialises in the field of Asthma, COPD, Pneumonia, Pleural Diseases (Pleural Effusion, Pneumothorax, etc.) and other Respiratory Diseases including Tuberculosis. He has special interest in studying and treating Sleep Disorders including Obstructive Sleep Apnoea and performs Sleep Study (Polysomonography) himself.
